Do I peel the film on the acrylic

NO - Do not peel the film from the acrylic. The film must remain in place on the acrylic.

I have received a scratched sign (front section)

We package the signs in such a way that they do not scratch, in the unlikely event that you receive a scratched sign we will send a replacement. Please keep the sign in the acrylic section in the bag until the moment you are ready to fit.

Do I peel the film on the Steel / Aluminium

You CAN and should peel off the film form the steel and aluminium. If you are looking at a Beige / Cream / White or a scratched surface then you are looking at the back side of the steel. Please turn the piece over and remove the film, be careful you don't scratch the show face when doing so.
